Sioux City, IA - The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is seeking a WWTP Compliance Technician to join our team.
Take advantage of one of the country's most affordable cities. The City of Sioux City is located in the rolling Loess Hills along the Missouri River and has an opening for a Compliance Technician who is looking to either start their career or to continue this career.
Under guidance and direction of the WWTP Operations Supervisor or WWTP Pretreatment Manger, Compliance Technician conduct compliance monitoring and site inspections. Perform laboratory analysis as part of our Industrial Pretreatment and Fats, Oil, and Grease (FOG) program.
The Compliance Technician position follows a regular Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. The Wastewater Treatment plant operates 24/7, so occasional overtime may be required. This could include work outside normal hours such as evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on operational needs.
Our employees are required to reside within 30 miles of the City of Sioux City limits which extends to other adjoining states; Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.
