This full-time position is responsible for maintaining the City's water treatment and distribution systems through a variety of hands-on duties, including operating treatment equipment, collecting and testing water samples, reading and maintaining water meters, and assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water infrastructure. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to obtain a Class B Iowa CDL and Grade I Water Treatment and Distribution certifications within one year of hire. The position includes an on-call rotation for water emergencies and offers a starting pay range of $24.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
