Permanent full-time position available Wage: $57,574.40 – $73,673.60 (starting wage contingent upon experience)
Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm shifts on rotating schedule which includes one weekend every four weeks
Job summary: Under general direction, operates and monitors City wastewater treatment plant machines and equipment to control wastewater treatment processes in compliance with State permit requirements. Minimum Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other: Associate’s degree from an accredited educational institution; or two years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in wastewater treatment. State of Iowa DNR Grade II Wastewater Operator certificate. Forklift certification required within two years of appointment. Satisfactory driving record. Valid State of Iowa commercial driver’s license instruction permit upon first day in position. Valid State of Iowa Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake and tank endorsements within 6 months of hire. Meet federal drug testing requirements. Requires a pre-employment drug screen. Must be 18 years of age. Must pass criminal background check. Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
Other: Associate’s degree from an accredited educational institution and one year of related experience; or three years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Casey, Iowa - Public Works Director - City of Casey is accepting applications to fill a full time Public Works Director position. Must have or be able to obtain within 45 days of hire, a Certified Grade I for Water; Grade II in Water Distribution and Grade II in Wastewater and a CDL class B. Experience in water, sewer, street maintenance and operations and some mechanical background is preferred Insurance is offered. Position would start immediately. Wages will be based on qualifications.
