City of Algona - Wastewater Treatment Plant Employee
The City of Algona is accepting applications for a position at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Preferred applicants will have a Grade I, or higher, Iowa Wastewater Treatment Licenses, but applicants with mechanical abilities and related experience will be considered. The employee will work under the direction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent, but will be required to perform functions in other Departments as needed.

City of Asbury - Water/Wastewater Operator
The City of Asbury is seeking applications for a water/wastewater operator position.
Duties include: test and monitor all water and wastewater systems and maintain equipment, snow and ice removal, maintain streets, curbs. Applicant must have Grade II Wastewater Certification and Grade I Water Certification or be able to obtain within six months of hire. Must possess a valid CDL class B. Salary DOQ. EOE. Min. 2-4 year’s exp with water, wastewater and streets. Prefer post high education in water, wastewater technology.
