Fall Conference Schedule

 

COVID-19 has had a major impact on our ability to provide training and hold conferences.  Many factors, including the Governor Proclamations, federal and state agencies guidance, facility requirements, etc. affect how we plan, develop and hold training events.  Our initial planning for the 2020 Fall Conference is based on the information, restrictions and projections that were in place as of June 2020.  All of these factors are subject to change.  We will continue to monitor all of the factors and make adjustments as necessary.  We will hold two separate conferences for Water and Wastewater at each location with Vendor Booths limited to the first 22 exhibit registrations for each conference.  Your booth space is limited to two company representatives.  Additional booth attendees will NOT be allowed.

Exhibit Fees

Exhibit fees include two company representatives ONLY, all breaks, Day One Lunch (2) & the Day One Evening Meal (2), a 6 ft. skirted table and two chairs.  Please note that booth electricity IS NOT offered and booth space is limited at the Fall Conferences.  You must be a member of the Iowa Rural Water Association in order to exhibit at our Fall Conferences.  **Booth Space WILL be assigned by IRWA Staff based on receipt of application.**

Cancellation Policy

The IRWA Cancellation Policy is if written cancellation notice is received by September 7th for Okoboji and October 5th for Dubuque, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 administration fee.  No refunds will be issued for either conference after these dates.

Additional Activities

The Water Conference Monday Golf Tournament (Okoboji ONLY) – 4 PM
2-Man best shot golf tournament to be held at Brooks Golf Club (Okoboji).  Cost is $40.00 per person. Must sign up by 10:00 AM Monday at the IRWA registration desk.

Wastewater Conference Wednesday Golf Tournament (Okoboji ONLY) – 4 PM
2-Man best shot golf tournament to be held at Brooks Golf Club (Okoboji).  Cost is $40.00 per person. Must sign up by 10:00 AM Wednesday at the IRWA registration desk.

Dinner Social Meal (Okoboji ONLY) – 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM
Following both golf tournaments, on the first day of the conference, join us at Arrowwood Resort (Okoboji) for our dinner social, which is included with your paid full registration.

Annual Social Event (Dubuque ONLY) – 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
On the first day of the conference (Monday or Wednesday), join us for supper and social time at the Diamond Joe Casino Bridge/Harbor Room.  Supper buffet will be served starting at 6:30 PM.  On the menu is salad, breadstick, Baked Pasta Primavera and Chicken Parmesan which is included with your paid full registration.  There will be a host keg beer and cash bar available.  Supper service closes at 7:30 PM.  Following supper, stay and socialize, play a few games on the patio and enjoy time with friends.
